Arrival at Delhi

Day 1

Arrive at Delhi our services begin here, you are greeted at the Airport by our travel facilitator or Tour Director, you are then driven to your hotel where you are assisted with your check in. After refreshing yourself, proceed to see the best attractions of Delhi. First visit a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Qutub Minar is a tall tower built by the early Delhi Sultans in the 12th century. Next, drive past Red Fort another UNESCO World Heritage Site, this famous fort was built in the 17th century and was the main residence of the Mughal emperors, then the India Gate and Parliament House. Take a tour of Old Delhi as well, experiencing the true spirit of Delhi with its bustling streets and delicious street food.

Delhi - Dholpur - Agra

Day 2

On second day, drive to Dholpur from Delhi via Agra, the city of Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonder of the world needs no introduction – the magnificent, striking white Taj Mahal. Then the visit of Red fort of Agra is also not less than any wonder, the architecture and legends say much more, we can’t enunciate it until unless you observe yourself it.  You will be staying overnight at Dholpur.

Chambal River Safari

Day 3

Today on third day we have an early breakfast and leave for boat safari on Chambal River. This river is a home to various species of crocodiles, dolphins, aquatic life and Siberian migratory birds. Boat safari is the best way to experience the river, it also provides an opportunity for river rafting, explore wildlife and other adventure activities. Next, take a half day long safari through the Chambal river, it has also been infamous for its association with dacoits (bandits) in the past, and many movies and books have been made on this subject.

Dholpur to Gwalior via Ancient Temples

Day 4

On day four, after breakfast, drive to Gwalior visiting the Mitawali, Padawali and the Bateshwar group of temples on your way. The Mitawali Temple is known for its unique shape, which resembles an inverted cone. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and has intricate carvings on its walls. The Padawali Temple is located around 20 km from Mitawali and is another beautiful temple that should not be missed. It dates back to the 10th century and has an impressive architecture. The Bateshwar group of around 200 temples was constructed during the 8th and 9th centuries and is a must-visit for anyone interested in ancient Indian architecture. The day ends here with reaching Gwalior and checking into your respective hotel.

Day 5

Gwalior is a historic city situated in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh that offers a unique blend of history, culture and natural beauty. After lavishly breakfast at the hotel in Gwalior get driven to the tombs of Ghaus Muhammad, a Muslim saint and Tansen who was one of the greatest musicians of the Mughal era. After this visiting Jai Vilas Palace, it is a grand palace built by Maharaja Jayajirao Scindia in the 19th century. The palace is now converted into a museum and houses a collection of art, artifacts, and weaponry. In the afternoon, take a tour of Gwalior Fort, Built by Raja Man Singh Tomar in the 15th century, Teli Ka Mandir, famous for its unique architectural style that combines different elements of Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain architecture. and Saahastra Bahu Temple, locally called Saas-Bahu Temple.

Gwalior to Khajuraho via Orchha

Day 6

This is the next morning in Gwalior, after completing breakfast at the hotels in Gwalior, check out and get driven to Jhansi Railway Station. From here, you can take a train to Khajuraho, which is located around 170 kilometers away. The journey takes approximately 4-5 hours. Once you reach Khajuraho, you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay. However, before you head to your hotel, make sure to visit some of the famous tourist attractions in Orchha, which is located on the way to Khajuraho. Jehangir Mahal is a popular palace located in Orchha, which was built in the 17th century by Raja Bir Singh Deo. This palace is famous for its unique architecture, which is a blend of Mughal and Rajput styles. Raja Mahal is another attraction in Orchha, which was also built by Raja Bir Singh Deo in the 16th century. The palace is a perfect example of the Bundela style of architecture and is known for its intricate wall paintings and frescos. Chaturbhuj Temple is a well-known Hindu temple in Orchha, which was built in the 16th century by Raja Ramachandra. The temple has a massive facade and impressive interiors with magnificent sculptures and carvings. After visiting Orchha, you can continue your journey to Khajuraho and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel.

Khajuraho & Panna National Park

Day 7

Today in early morning we would go to visit the Khajuraho. It is famous for its group of Hindu and Jain temples which are known for their intricate carvings and erotic sculptures. The temples were built between the 10th and 12th centuries by the Chandela dynasty. These temples represent a unique blend of architectural styles and are declared as UNESCO World Heritage Site. After that we visit to Panna National Park and expect to watch a variety of wildlife species including tigers, leopards, wolves, jackals, and birds like the crested serpent eagle, honey buzzard, rufous tailed shrike, etc. It is a popular tourist destination for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers.  In the evening check in at the hotel and overnight stay will be in Khajuraho.

Day 8

Khajuraho to Bandhavgarh

In this day we will drive to one of India's most famous wildlife destinations: Bandhavgarh national park (250kms/05:30hrs) is known for its high density of tigers. Begin the day with local market sightseeing of Khajuraho and later drive to waterfall known as Raneh Fall. It is a natural site where water fall forms on Ken river, adding to its scenic beauty. Later take lunch at Khajuraho and then drive to Bandhavgarh. By late evening you will reach your resort in Bandhavgarh. Take your dinner and make necessary preparation for your early morning Jungle Safari. You are expected to be ready at 6:00Hrs. Safari jeep picks & drop you from & to your resort.

Day 9

The park was once the private hunting ground of the Maharaja of Rewa until 1968 when it was declared a national park. Later in 1993, it became a part of Project Tiger, a conservation program aimed at protecting the endangered tiger species in India. You will be going for an early morning safari into the forest, when the wilderness is at its peak. The vegetation of the park includes tropical moist deciduous forests, open grasslands, and rocky hills. The park is home to a variety of wildlife species including Bengal tigers, leopards, sloth bears, Indian wild dogs, spotted deer, sambar deer, barking deer, nilgai, and Indian bison. You can enjoy elephant safaris to explore the park and spot wildlife, if you are lucky enough might be possible you get a glimpse of Bengal Tiger. Come back to hotel for your refreshment and some rest before you set off for the next safari of another day to Kanha National Park.

Day 10

After taking breakfast, complete check-out formalities from the resort and be ready for another road trip to Kanha National Park. It will take around 5.5 hours to reach there, upon arrival check in to the wildlife resort. The rest of the evening is free. You can enjoy any in-house activities in the resort or explore any nature tracks of your choice. Dinner and overnight stay in Kanha National Park.

Day 11

Next day, wake up early and enjoy a refreshing cup of tea/coffee before leaving for the morning jungle walk. Discover the natural beauty of Kanha as you walk through the forest accompanied by a guide. You will get a chance to observe the flora and fauna of the region up close. After the walk, return to the resort for breakfast. You can spend the rest of the day as per your liking. You may choose to relax in the resort or indulge in some of the activities offered by the resort. You can also explore the nearby villages and experience the local culture. In the evening, get ready for the last jeep safari of your trip. Witness the beautiful sunset while spotting the wildlife species in their natural habitat. After the safari, return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Kanha to Jabalpur Departure

Day 12

On the final day, finish your breakfast and check out of the resort. Our driver will drop you at Jabalpur airport or the closest railway station. Saying goodbye to the beautiful land of Kanha, you will take back wonderful memories of your wildlife adventure.

RELAXING TRIP

This time we decided to go for a small family luxurious and relaxing trip to Orccha and Jhansi. Magic box Holidays out did themselves in this trip. My father and I are all about history and my mother was mostly concerned of eating authentic Bundelkhandi food. We told Paridhi from Magic box the reasons for visiting and what all we would like to do. She got a us a wonderful deal in Amar Mahal hotel which is most luxurious in Orccha with breakfast and dinner included. She had also made sure that we had an amazing driver throughout the trip who was very knowledgeable about the area.!
