Arrival in Delhi

Day 1

On the first day, you will arrive at the Delhi airport or railway station. Our services begin here, you are greeted by our travel facilitator or Tour Director, you are then driven to your hotel where you are assisted with your check in. Spend your time at leisure gearing up for the start of an exciting tour from the next day. Overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.

Day 2

The tour begins in Delhi, the capital city of India. You will get to witness the contrasting beauty of both Old Delhi and New Delhi while learning about the rich history and culture of the city. Your day will start at the iconic Red Fort or Lal Qila where you can acknowledge yourself with marvelous architecture and history of India. Afterward, the Jama Masjid, with its stunning architecture and grandeur, will leave you awestruck. The bustling Chandni Chawk market will take you on a sensory journey, where you will witness the chaos and vibrancy of Delhi's street life. In New Delhi, you will drive past India Gate, a war memorial dedicated to Indian soldiers who lost their lives in World War I. You will also get to witness the grandeur of parliamentary buildings, president's house and other government buildings on Rajpath. You will visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, a prominent Sikh temple, where you can learn about the Sikh culture and their way of life. The Lotus Temple, with its unique architecture, will fascinate you with its beauty and serenity. To end the tour, If time permits, you will visit the famous Qutub Minar in South Delhi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the tallest minarets in India.

Day 3

After breakfast drive to Haridwar, one of the most sacred Hindu pilgrimage destinations and famous tourist attraction which is located at the foothills of the Shivalik Ranges of the Himalayas and on the banks of the Ganges. The route passes through the little towns of Uttar Pradesh and gradually moves into the Himalayan plains and finally the hilly locales of Uttarakhand. Do stop by at the Ganga Mandir, this place is famous for its evening ‘ganga aarti’ and you will see the Ganges light up in a million lamps. The aarti is an important religious ritual performed at the banks of the holy river every evening to seek blessings from the Goddess Ganga. Visit the beautiful architecture of Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple. Check in and overnight stay at hotel.

Haridwar to Guptkashi

Day 4

On day four, start your day with an early morning breakfast and begin your journey to Guptkashi. Along the way, make a short stopover at Devprayag, where you can witness the Holy Sangam (confluence) of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers, which together form the Ganga River. Take some time to soak in the spiritual atmosphere and appreciate the beauty of the union of these two rivers. Afterwards, continue your journey towards Guptkashi, taking in some of the most breathtaking landscapes along the way. The route will offer you stunning views of the majestic mountains, flowing rivers, and lush greenery that Uttarakhand is famous for. Once you reach Guptkashi, check-in to your hotel and settle in for the night. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in Guptkashi, preparing for the next leg of your journey.

Guptakashi - Gaurikund - Kedarnath

Day 5

Early in the morning head towards Sonprayag where your trekking to Kedarnath will start. Have a delicious breakfast and get transferred from Guptkashi to Sonprayag. Once we reach Sonprayag, we have to walk to the Government Union taxi stand, to reach Gaurikund. Upon arrival in Gaurikund, you will start your trek towards Kedarnath Temple. This trek will take approximately 11-12 hours by foot. However, you also have the option to take a helicopter or hire a pony or doli at your own cost to make the journey easier. The trek to Kedarnath Temple is long but beautiful, with a well-made trail. After reaching the temple, you can perform pooja and have darshan of Shri Kedarnath. The Kedarnath temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is a part of Char Dham pilgrimage circuit, and is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva in India. Later, you can check in at a hotel or dormitory provided by GMVN (Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam). You will stay overnight near the Kedarnath Temple, within a radius of 100-200 meters.

Kedarnath - Rishikesh

Day 6

The next day, wake up early to catch the sunrise over the majestic mountains. Afterward, have a peaceful breakfast and spend some time exploring the Kedarnath Temple and its surroundings. Take a moment to soak in the spiritual atmosphere and offer your prayers. In the afternoon, start your descent from Kedarnath back to Gaurikund. You can choose to trek down or hire a pony or palanquin to make the journey easier. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the valley and the soothing sounds of the river stream as you make your way back. Once you reach Gaurikund, head back to Sonprayag and transfer to Guptkashi. You will then start traveling back to Rishikesh, on arrival at Rishikesh, complete the check-in formalities, freshen up and rest for the night. Enjoy a delicious dinner and reflect on the beautiful experiences of the day. 

 Leisure day at Rishikesh

Day 7

On this day at Rishikesh, wake up early and join a yoga or meditation session by the Ganges River. Afterward, have a healthy breakfast and head to the famous Parmarth Niketan Ashram for a spiritual experience. Participate in the morning Aarti (prayer ceremony) and soak in the serene atmosphere. Next, visit the Beatles Ashram, also known as the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ashram, where the Beatles stayed and composed some of their famous songs. Explore the abandoned buildings covered in colorful graffiti and feel the creativity in the air. In the afternoon, take a stroll along the Ganges River and visit the Triveni Ghat, where you can witness the evening Aarti ceremony. Take a dip in the holy waters and feel rejuvenated. If you're feeling adventurous, try out some water sports like river rafting or kayaking. Rishikesh is a popular destination for these activities, and they provide a thrilling experience amidst the stunning natural beauty. In the evening, head to one of the rooftop cafes overlooking the river and enjoy a delicious dinner while listening to live music or participating in a jam session. Rishikesh is known for its vibrant live music scene, so make sure to immerse yourself in the local culture. After a day full of exploration and adventure, return to your accommodation and get a good night's sleep to recharge for the next day's journey.

Day 8

On the final day, bid farewell to Rishikesh and head back to your home or onward destination, you can either head to the Delhi airport or railway station for your onward journey. Reflect on the spiritual experiences and memories you have gained in this Kedarnath Dham Yatra and carry them with you as you continue your journey through life. RELAXING TRIP

This time we decided to go for a small family luxurious and relaxing trip to Orccha and Jhansi. Magic box Holidays out did themselves in this trip. My father and I are all about history and my mother was mostly concerned of eating authentic Bundelkhandi food. We told Paridhi from Magic box the reasons for visiting and what all we would like to do. She got a us a wonderful deal in Amar Mahal hotel which is most luxurious in Orccha with breakfast and dinner included. She had also made sure that we had an amazing driver throughout the trip who was very knowledgeable about the area.!
