Arrival at Tabakoshi
Day 1
On the first day of the trip, arrive at Bagdogra Airport and get transferred to your pre-booked hotel in Tabakoshi with the help of one of our representatives. After refreshment, enjoy a full day excursion to Mirik. This beautiful hill station is known for its serene ambiance and pleasant weather. Visit the famous Sumendu Lake, which offers boating facilities and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Explore the beautiful gardens and enjoy a leisurely walk along the lake. Afterward, visit the Bokar Monastery, a Buddhist monastery known for its peaceful atmosphere and beautiful architecture. Pay a visit to the Mirik Church, known for its stunning stained-glass windows and serene surroundings. After exploring Mirik, return to Tabakoshi for dinner and overnight stay.
Lepchajagat and Pasupati Sightseeing
Day 2
Have a breakfast at the hotel and then go out for the Pasupati market, located on the India-Nepal border, Pasupati is a bustling market where tourists can indulge in shopping for clothes, accessories, handicrafts, and other local products. The market is famous for its wide variety of goods, and visitors can also experience the vibrant culture and traditions of both India and Nepal. You will finally reach Lepchajagat, a small village. known for its breathtaking views of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks, including Kanchenjunga, the third highest mountain in the world. This serene and peaceful village is an ideal destination for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts. you are now completely free from the rest of the day. For those who enjoy trekking, there are several trails that lead to various viewpoints around Lepchajagat. The most famous one is the 5 km trek to the Jorpokhri Lake, which offers stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. The trek takes you through dense forests, misty paths, and tranquil meadows. Another popular activity in Lepchajagat is bird watching. The village is home to a variety of exotic and rare bird species, making it a paradise for bird lovers. One can spot Himalayan Monal, Rufous Sibia, Satyr Tragopan, and many other beautiful birds in the surrounding forests. In the evening return back to your hotel and overnight stay at lepchajagat.
Lepchajagat to Dawaipani
Day 3
The next day, wake up refreshed and ready for a day filled with adventure. You are being transferred to Dawaipani, situated on the foothills of mighty Himalaya, Dawaipani is a tiny village in the Darjeeling district of West Bengal. Upon reaching Dawaipani, take a moment to soak in the panoramic vistas of the Kanchenjunga range, the third highest mountain in the world. Enjoy a packed lunch amidst the tranquil surroundings. In the evening, indulge in some bird watching as the village is home to a variety of bird species. Capture the beautiful sights and sounds of the feathered creatures as they go about their daily activities. As night falls, gather around a bonfire and enjoy a cultural program organized by the locals. Immerse yourself in the traditional music and dance performances, getting a taste of the rich cultural heritage of the region. Finally, after having a delicious dinner, spend the night here at Dawaipani.
Chatakpur Sightseeing & Trek to Sandakphu
Day 4
Today, we head start our journey to Chatakpur. After breakfast, embark on a thrilling trek to Sandakphu, the highest village in the Darjeeling District of West Bengal Situated at an altitude of 3,636 meters (11,929 feet), it offers breathtaking views of the nearby Himalayan peaks, including the four highest mountains in the world - Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, and Makalu. On the way, you will pass through dense forests, charming villages, and breathtaking landscapes. It is a popular destination among adventure enthusiasts, trekkers, and nature lovers. Once you reach Sandakphu, you can witness the beautiful sunrise over the snow-capped mountains, enjoy panoramic views of the Singalila Range, and explore the flora and fauna of the Singalila National Park. After exploring and doing many intense activities, return back to your hotel. After a day well spent, indulging in a delicious dinner would be the perfect way to end the day. Finding a local restaurant or trying out traditional dishes would add a touch of exploration to the experience. Ultimately, settling down for an overnight stay in Chatakpur would provide a chance to completely immerse oneself in the soothing tranquility of the surroundings.
Drop to Bagdogra Airport
Day 5
After breakfast, bid farewell to this idyllic village and head back to Darjeeling. Take one last look at the majestic Himalayas before departing with unforgettable memories of your time spent in Darjeeling and its enchanting surroundings. You will leave the city with redolent memories of the Northeast and Darjeeling. we get driven to Bagdogra Airport from where you will board your flight to your next destination.
