Arrival in Delhi

Day 1

On the first day, you will arrive at the Delhi airport or railway station. Our services begin here, you are greeted by our travel facilitator or Tour Director, you are then driven to your hotel where you are assisted with your check in. Spend your time at leisure gearing up for the start of an exciting tour from the next day. Overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.

Day 2

The tour begins in Delhi, the capital city of India. You will get to witness the contrasting beauty of both Old Delhi and New Delhi while learning about the rich history and culture of the city. Your day will start at the iconic Red Fort or Lal Qila where you can acknowledge yourself with marvelous architecture and history of India. Afterward, the Jama Masjid, with its stunning architecture and grandeur, will leave you awestruck. The bustling Chandni Chawk market will take you on a sensory journey, where you will witness the chaos and vibrancy of Delhi's street life. In New Delhi, you will drive past India Gate, a war memorial dedicated to Indian soldiers who lost their lives in World War I. You will also get to witness the grandeur of parliamentary buildings, president's house and other government buildings on Rajpath. You will visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, a prominent Sikh temple, where you can learn about the Sikh culture and their way of life. The Lotus Temple, with its unique architecture, will fascinate you with its beauty and serenity. To end the tour, If time permits, you will visit the famous Qutub Minar in South Delhi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the tallest minarets in India.

Delhi to Haridwar (250 Km || 5 hr 30 min)

Day 3

After breakfast drive to Haridwar, one of the most sacred Hindu pilgrimage destinations and famous tourist attraction which is located at the foothills of the Shivalik Ranges of the Himalayas and on the banks of the Ganges. The route passes through the little towns of Uttar Pradesh and gradually moves into the Himalayan plains and finally the hilly locales of Uttarakhand. Do stop by at the Ganga Mandir, this place is famous for its evening ‘ganga aarti’ and you will see the Ganges light up in a million lamps. The aarti is an important religious ritual performed at the banks of the holy river every evening to seek blessings from the Goddess Ganga. Visit the beautiful architecture of Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple. Check in and overnight stay at hotel.

Haridwar to Barkot (180 Km || 6 hrs)

Day 4

On day four, take an early morning breakfast and head towards Barkot, traveling from Haridwar to Barkot by road is certainly one of the best ways of exploring the two most vibrant cities. Barkot evolved as a popular tourist destination over the years. While the seekers come for the divine vibe, the adventure-seeking souls come to bask in the beautiful natural environment of the Garhwal Himalayas. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay at Barkot.

Barkot to Janki Chatti (90 Km || 8 hrs 30 min)

Day 5

The next day, after having breakfast early in the morning, we will drive to Janki Chatti, which is approximately 45 kms away from Barkot. Janki Chatti serves as the starting point for the trek route towards Yamunotri, which is 6 kms away. You have the option to either walk or hire a Pony or Doli at your own cost.

Upon reaching Yamunotri, you can take a holy bath in the Surya Kund, which is a hot spring. After that, you can visit the Yamunotri temple for "Darshan" and also perform Pooja of the pious "Yamuna Ji" at Divya Shila.

After completing the visit, we will return to Janki Chatti and then drive back to Barkot. We will stay overnight at Barkot.

Day 6

Barkot to Uttarkashi (100 Km || 4 hrs)

This morning after breakfast, check out from hotel and drive to Uttarkashi. Upon arrival check-in at hotel. Later visit Vishwanath Temple. The temple is situated on the banks of the Bhagirathi River and is surrounded by picturesque landscapes of the Garhwal Himalayas. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and has rich history, mentioned in ancient Hindu scriptures. Every year, thousands of devotees visit the Vishwanath Temple to seek blessings and offer their prayers. The temple is also a part of our Char Dham Yatra, a pilgrimage circuit that includes the four sacred sites of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. You can also enjoy the serene surroundings of the temple, as Uttarkashi is known for its natural beauty and adventure activities. Trekking, mountaineering, and river rafting are popular among tourists. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

Day 7

Uttarkashi to Gangotri Darshan (100 Km || 8 hrs)

After breakfast, we proceed to Gangotri excursion tour. En-route enjoy picturesque Harsil arrival at Gangotri visit Gangotri Mata Temple which is one of the four holy shrines of the Chota Char Dham Yatra. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Ganga and is located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. It is a popular pilgrimage site among Hindu devotees. Apart from the temple, you can also explore the natural beauty of the region, including the breathtaking Gangotri Glacier and the stunning views of the surrounding Himalayas. Thereafter we drive back to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

Uttarkashi to Sitapur | Phata | Guptkashi

Day 8

Uttarkashi to Sitapur, Phata, and Guptkashi tour will take you through some beautiful places in Uttarakhand. After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Uttarkashi, Drive to Sitapur/Phata/Guptkashi. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes and majestic views of the Himalayas along the way. Arrive in Sitapur/Phata/Guptkashi and check into your hotel. Relax for the rest of the day and prepare for the next day's adventure. Overnight stay.

Day 9

Early in the morning you will be driven till Sonprayag (vehicles allow till this point) from here you need to take a local jeep, sumo, or max to reach Gaurikund, which is around 5km away. Upon arrival in Gaurikund, you will start your trek towards Kedarnath Temple. This trek will take approximately 11-12 hours by foot. However, you also have the option to take a helicopter or hire a pony or doli at your own cost to make the journey easier. The trek to Kedarnath Temple is long but beautiful, with a well-made trail. After reaching the temple, you can perform pooja and have darshan of Shri Kedarnath. The Kedarnath temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is a part of Char Dham pilgrimage circuit, and is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva in India. Later, you can check in at a hotel or dormitory provided by GMVN (Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam). You will stay overnight near the Kedarnath Temple, within a radius of 100-200 meters.

Sitapur | Phata | Guptkashi – Badrinath (210 Km || 9 hrs)

Day 10

After early morning breakfast, you will need to check out from the hotel and start driving towards Badrinath. Once you arrive at Badrinath, you can check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, you can spend some leisure time exploring the surroundings or relaxing at the hotel. In the evening, if time permits, you can visit the Shri Badrinath Temple to witness the Aarti, a traditional Hindu prayer ceremony. The temple in Badrinath is also a sacred pilgrimage site for Vaishnavites. Badrinath is also gateway to several mountaineering expeditions headed to mountains like Nilkantha. Temple. The Badrinath temple is the main attraction in the town. After that, you will stay overnight at the hotel in Badrinath.

Badrinath – Pipalkoti | Rudrapryag

Day 11

After having a refreshing bath in the Taptkund, it is customary to visit the Shri Badrinath Temple in the morning. One significant ritual to perform at the temple is the Pind Dan Shradh of ancestors at Bhramkapal (Pitru). This is believed to bring peace and salvation to the departed souls. There are other interesting sightseeing spot like Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Mata Murti Temple, Bhim Kund and the "Mukh '' of the Saraswati River. The Saraswati River is considered to be a mythical river that flows underground and merges with the Alaknanda River at this point. The "Mukh" is the place where the flow of the Saraswati River becomes visible for a short distance. It is a unique sight to witness. After the sightseeing tour, you will be driven towards Pipalkoti or Srinagar. Upon arrival, you can check-in at a hotel and spend the night there. Pipalkoti is a small town located about three kilometers from Badrinath. It offers a comfortable stay option for visitors exploring the area.

Pipalkoti | Rudrapryag – Haridwar (165 Km || 6 hrs)

Day 12

After having breakfast in Rudraprayag, start your drive back to Haridwar. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the mountains and rivers along the way.Upon arrival in Haridwar, check-in to your hotel and freshen up. In the evening, visit the famous Har Ki Pauri ghat, which is one of the most important pilgrimage spots in Haridwar. Participate in the Ganga Aarti, a beautiful ceremony that takes place every evening at the ghat. It is a mesmerizing experience to see thousands of oil lamps floating on the river and devotees offering prayers. After the Ganga Aarti, you can explore the local markets and indulge in some shopping for souvenirs or religious items.

This day, after breakfast, depending on your departure mode, you can either head to the Delhi airport or railway station for your onward journey. This time we decided to go for a small family luxurious and relaxing trip to Orccha and Jhansi. Magic box Holidays out did themselves in this trip. My father and I are all about history and my mother was mostly concerned of eating authentic Bundelkhandi food. We told Paridhi from Magic box the reasons for visiting and what all we would like to do. She got a us a wonderful deal in Amar Mahal hotel which is most luxurious in Orccha with breakfast and dinner included. She had also made sure that we had an amazing driver throughout the trip who was very knowledgeable about the area.!
